IN AND AROUND DEVORAN AND PENPOL CREEK - Bookings Required - All Welcome

Paula will be leading a circular walk from the Victorian engineered town of Devoran which was once the largest mining port in Cornwall. Starting from Devoran we will be following the route of the tramway that carried tin ore from the mines to the smelters on Point Quay. From here the walk follows bridleways and footpaths above Restronguet Creek. Highlights of the walk include the historic mining port of Devoran and bird life along the creeks. We will finish with refreshments at The Old Quay Inn in Devoran.
