KCIIIECP CELEBRATION WALK - BUDE - Bookings Required - All Welcome

This scenic circular walk begins at the Weir at Whalesborough, crossing open fields towards the sweeping sands of Widemouth Bay. From here, the route joins the South West Coast Path, where spectacular panoramic sea views and fascinating geological rock formations accompany the way.


Leaving the coast path, the walk gently climbs across the site of a historic battlefield encampment before descending to the sea lock at Bude. The route continues along the lively waterfront, where the Bude Canal is often busy with paddle boats and canoes, before joining the peaceful canal towpath.
The final section follows the tranquil canal, rich in birdlife and other wildlife, returning to the Weir at Whalesborough to complete this varied and rewarding circular walk.

Finishing with post-walk refreshments at the Weir.
