Location: Free parking in Houseman’s car park, Minions, aka Cheesewring car park, NOT Hurlers car park.

We set off in an easterly direction following the line of a disused railway past many ruined mining structures. There are great views across to Dartmoor and the south coast. We descend into the hamlet of Crows Nest before ascending up the valley of Seaton River following an old Tramway to Minions village. Refreshments afterwards at Crows Nest Inn about three miles away. No stiles, just one steep stone staircase.
